Anti-ISA Candlelight Vigil

To demand the release of all ISA detainees, especially RPK and the Hindraf 5.

Organiser: Hindraf (Checckk-out da soundtrack on dey website, machaaaa!)
Venue: Dataran Merdeka – the dutiful cops cordoned off the whole of Dataran and asked everyone to bugger off. When I got there at 8.05pm, it was deserted.
Then I received word that the crowd were making their way to Kortumalar Pillayar Temple, opposite Puduraya.
There was supposed to be another vigil at Central Market but these vigilers were also making their way to the temple.
When I arrived, two thousand Malaysians of all races were there offering to light candles for everyone - check out the pics and vids:

Police prescence was at a minimum, and none of them [dared] interefere.
The crowd dispersed after an hour or so.
I bought a MAKKAL SAKTI t-shirt (XXL).
Yesterday, the Gerakan Mansuhkan ISA [GMI] tried to distribute leaflets calling for the repeal of the ISA and tonight’s candlelight vigil:
We are Malaysian who are decent and law-abiding. We love our country and only want peace and harmony ampng the people. We stand united against injustice, corruption and evil deeds of bad leaders. ABOLISH ISA PRONTO!

Thanks for the photos. Really good to see all Malaysians Realizing things and getting up to fight for their rights.
