parliament, here we come!

The facts [from Malaysiakini]

1. Anwar to contest in Permatang Pauh by-election.

2. Election Commission has a maximum of 60 days to call for one.
(Take a bet they’ll take 59.9 days)

3. Police investigations into the sodomy complaint have been completed and the papers are now with the Attorney-General’s Chambers for further action.

[The very same Attorney General who Anwar recently reported to the ACA for allegedly fabricating evidence in his 1998 trial ... hmmm what do you think AG will do?]

4. “We will not rule out the possibility of Anwar being arrested. And it looks like they are planning to charge him by Monday,” Tian Chua, PKR’s information chief, told AFP.

5. According to my usually reliable source, once a candidate has announced his candidacy, NOTHING can stop him from contesting – not arrest, criminal charges or jail. Take for example Hindraf’s M. Manoharan who contested and won the Kota Shah Alam state seat while detained under the ISA.

According to Malaysiakini: Even if he was arrested and charged, Anwar can still run in the by-election as he would only be disqualified if he was found guilty and slapped with at least a two-year jail sentence and/or fined more than RM2,000.

[Which means they have to arrest, charge, try and convict him all within 59.9 days]

The govt’s response: “We are not worried … we will face it … he is not a threat. It is a democratic process, good luck to him,” Home Minister Syed Hamid Albar told reporters. (Damn this bloody democratic process!! Dammmit dammit dammit!!!)

The govt’s options:

1] Arrest and charge him on Monday and the whole world will scream ‘conspiracy’.

2] Try, convict and sentence him in 59.9 days and the whole world would be screaming ‘conspiracy’.

3] Let him contest, and bring the full BN machinery, postal votes and other underhand tactics to defeat him … in Permatang Pauh where everyone and their pet cat is an Anwar fan.

4] Start packing their bags to leave Putrajaya on 16 September.

The govt is truly up shit creek without a paddle.

pas, present and future

(Note: If video is not visible, click HERE)

UMNO: Let’s have a dialogue … for Malay unity kononnya.

PAS: No, we must have muzaqarah.

UMNO: Aa? [Checks Arabic dictionary] … which means ‘dialogue’ la!

PAS: We must always use Arabic words to appear holier-than-thou and also to confuse the kafirs.

UMNO: Uh … what-everr … now that we’re er… muzzing along, [cue 'Imperial March' theme] join me … and together WE WILL RULE THE GALAXY!!

PAS: This is not muzaqarah, this is already muqaballah.

UMNO: And that means ‘to do an about face and leave’, right? Good … joiiinnn the daaark siiiide…

PAS: Your side is not dark enough … if we join we must have hudood and qeesass!!!

MCA: Aaa … can konteenew mik marni onnot? If can okaylaaa….

UMNO: (Shhh! …  they’ll hudud your dick off for saying that)

PAS: Haa … gotcha … we know you’ll NEVER agree … that’s why all this muzakarah and muqabalah is merely a chewbaqah [Arabic for 'making a big hairy deal out of nothing'].

Prediction: In the very near future, the PAS Hudud Gurus will be pressuring Pakatan to do the same.  For those who believe Malaysia is a secular democracy for all Malaysians, don’t let this opportunity pas you by … stand up now and put PAS in their place (ie: 3rd place after KeADILan and DAP).

improve your vocabulary …

Thanks to Anthony Sibert for forwarding this:

Words Malaysians can incorporate into their daily lives:

“Anwarised”  - meaning: To get back-stabbed.. i.e. People who have been anwarised may contact the DPM’s hotline

“Badawised” – meaning: To be stupified …………i.e. Malaysians seem to be badawied by the media which reports biased news

“Najibbed”    - meaning: To be blown to bits …..i.e. In this country, you better be careful with what you say, you can be najibbed otherwise

“Petrad”       – meaning: To be exposed ………..i.e. Lately the BN coalition has been petrad in many ways

“KayJayed”  - meaning: To shout for no reason i.e. He kayjayed in the Dewan and appeared like a moron

“Balaed”      - meaning: To vanish suddenly      i.e. They opposition balaed from the meeting in protest

“Lingamed”  - meaning: To repeat redundantly  i.e. The Information Minister lingamed the same rubbish in the debate recently.

“Soileked”   – meaning: To be caught on tape   i.e. People have stopped using budget hotels as they are afraid of being soileked.

A short Malaysian fiction :
Altantuya was cold bloodedly najibbed after she attempted to petra Najib for anwarising her and not making the promised payments.
Razak was badawised into covering up for Najib while Najib balaed from the scene. Razak was actually anwarised.
However Najib lingamed that he had nothing to do with it and has been kayjaying on the topic in an attempt to prove his innocence.
Nevertheless, some quarters have been threatening that they have soileked evidence that Najib was involved.
